The minute-long trailer really just sets up the fable, with a princess trapped away in a castle by overprotective parents and a singing man offering to whisk her away for a life of adventure, only to get caught by said overprotective parents and be locked away in the palace dungeon. Or at least, we think it will introduce them. The Apex Twitter account recently posted chapter one of “ The Moth and the Flame,” a new series of short animations that will introduce the next Legend.
Today we get our first official hint at who that might be. Valk was welcomed by the community as perhaps the best new Apex character yet, so Respawn has their work cut out for them with whoever they're adding in Season 10. The last new Legend to arrive in Apex Legends was Valkyrie, daughter of esteemed Titanfall 2 villain Viper and just the right kind of lady to add to the game for Pride month.
